They have their moments, but not enough of them. If they went out and got some more moments, fired the singer, and replaced him with someone tolerable, I might give them more listening time.

yeah manowar has good writing abilities musically and some good tunes, and its not even that the vocals are bad.. they are just waaaayyy overly cheesy, i mean up there competing with dreamevil for cheesy. i will listen to them though, just gotta write some better lyrics

Impossible to take seriously. The only thing they ever did that wasn't massively, manifestly gay was The Agony and Ecstasy of Achilles, which was decent. Everything else is pure blood, sweat 'n steel faggotry.

it means that the words are incredibly predictable and about how metal is true or some shit like that. But I do love Manowar. The guitars are too genious, but in order to really like them you have to be into power metal. I have stated once befroe that I do like power metal. They are just kick ass.
