What is the tp and p for?

p = pull-off.
tp = tap and pull-off. Tap the 19th fret with the middle finger of your picking hand (or use the edge of your pick). The act of removing your finger (or pick) then creates the pull-off to the 12th fret. For clarity on my tabs, I notate the 't' either above or below the note to be tapped.
Hope that helps!
