yea they fucking rock; i remeber listenin to the singer of Bal Sagoth at Wacken havin a go at their former drummer (now of Dragonforce). After i heard Bal Sagoth i realised why he left, they really did suck major bollocks. Very crap sound compared to their albums. Anyways Dragonforce's leads remind me of some of Bodom's, do you not think?

Indeed, although there's more shredding and less solos in DF. It's hard to make a comparison between the two, both near legendary status in their respective sub-genres. Although Bodom could be power metal with a cleaner vocalist. Unlike lots of other people, i don't have a problem with Alexi's vocals, they're... different, and i mean that in the best possible way.

Sorry to turn this into a CoB discussion, did anyone actually SEE DragonForce play? I've spoken to someone who saw them in Glasgow, he said they were excellent, but there were lots of poser kids there looking desperately for something new to cling to after nu-metal.
