Burnt stain finish?

any of you know a site that explaines how to do this (check this guitar for referece) i checked out projectguitar and they have a section on it but i was hoping someone could give me a link to something a bit more in depth about it

Have you tried emailing some luthiers or custom guitar shops? It's their business to know these things, and they'd be a much more reliable source of information then some website. Personally, I'd prefer expert opinion over someone who's not pro, and where "results may vary"
