help with my nj beast

i recently recieved an NJ Beast with machine head tuners (i dont like the speed loader). i am having problems tuning though. the strings will break when they arent even tight (well i dont know if they break, but they pop out of the bridge and it makes a snapping noise) and i find it very frustrating just trying. please if anyone has any tips or just knows how to work this, please tell me. thx

Are you tightening the locking nuts on the bridge? Do you cut the little ball tips off of the strings before you put them in? Try doing that and see how it works out.

Yeah, make sure you tighten the string block screws sufficiently (DON'T over tighten them though).

And since cutting the ball ends off was mentioned, cut after the "winding" ends.

Hmm for some one who doesnt know how to set up a floyd, not getting a speed loader wasn't a great idea.

Just make sure that the string are in the locking part of the bridge securly and as stated, not over tightened.
This site may help.
