Use the search-button, please. There are already plenty of threads covering different pedals and distortions, go through them before you make questions that have been answered many times before, thank you. You'll probably find what you're looking for much easier by doing that, anyway.

Since everyone else has time to say stupid shit, I'll cover this one.
The Boss Metal Zone is an excellent pedal. You can do a whole lot with the tones because it has the cool mid-sweep. It can also pack a whole lot of distortion. I've used it with six/seven strings and seymour duncan pickups and emg pickups....everytime time it delivered a real strong bite, whole lot of attack and a shitload of harmonics.

Theres no way in hell that a metalzone has mids.That POS sounds fucking thin.Have you ever tried a metalzone at high volumes??It fucking sounds like ass

No shit jackass...look I'm not gonna play silly fucking games.
In general, its not that bad of a pedal if you use it with a decent amp...but all in all its still just a distortion pedal, and that doesn't go very far at all. No reason to get an attitude about it though.

What BLS is saying is that if you buy a real rig, and you still use a metalzone than its pointless. For a couple reasons. 1. Metalzones overall tone is not that good. 2. Its a pedal. 3. If your going to spend a fair amount of money on a decent rig than why would you still be using a shitty pedal when the amp should have good tone by itself. 4. Its a pedal.
