unscrew the cavity where the jack is, pull the jack out then try and pull the broken chord out of there

Take out the impute jack, use a scredriver or something to push the broken end of the jack out.
Or you might have to spend $1 on a new jack!!!

If you know jack shit about guitar repairs, take it to a shop, let someone professional help you.
Other than that, you have 2 options. #1, try to push what's left of the chord out of the jack. Open your guitar, and be careful not to mess up the wiring.
Option #2 is drill a new hole, install a new output jack and wire it up. This is not uncommon in professional touring guitars, things get broken and that includes the jack. If it's impossible fix the old one, just install a new one.

Okay, I'll admit I haven't done that myself, because I treat my guitar much better than my girlfriend. But I just thought of that, because I just saw some pics of a professional band's (I can't remember who) guitars, and they had installed new jacks, parallel to the originals holes where they were installed (and I'm not talking about stereo). I dunno, is that what they do after people smash their guitars so the original jack drill holes get broken so you can't install a new in the original hole?

I have no idea how the hell you could break the hole for the jack. the jack input, ok, but you can replace them, its just a replacable system, you have to take out the ring in the body of the guitar and you can push it out and replace it with a new one.

just take off the cover for where ur volume/tone, and input is(for me its on the back side of my guitar, well unscrew it, and u should have plenty of access to use a screwdriver or somethin that can fit, then u can just pop it out. obviously just dont fuck up the wiring.
