Orphaned Land
El Norra Alila and Mabool have to be the most beautiful albums I've heard in a very long time.

Weird ambient Israeli metal. It's really quite good.

Damn, I made a Orphaned Land thread a couple weeks ago and no one posted on it. Well anyways, yes Ocean Land is a great song and its very addictive. They kinda remind me of Opeth.

I was just listening to The Calm Before the Flood and realised there is not anywhere near enough discussion about this band.

Awesome band. I was about to travel to Atlanta this year to see them at their first U.S. concert but that fell through
Hopefully they'll be at PowerProg again next year.

I have Mabool and The Calm Before the Flood. They are indeed a good band. they are quite different from anything else i've heard before.

I love Mabool, but the clean vocals get very irritating.
