the dsl100 will sound 10 times better without... what do you mean "help the sound"?
jcm 2000's rock.

that's why you spend that kind of money on an amp, so you don't have to worry about external devices for your tone.

umm... you need more gain from a jcm 2000??? man... you're just going to muck up your sound... the jcm 2000's have more than enough gain for even death metal....

sell it, buy a jcm 800 and a proco rat of some kind...

Beserker only has the gain on their JCM 2000 turned up to about 80%, more gain than than the head puts out would really make the distortion sloppy. what pickups do you use?

Seymour Duncan Sh-6.
But it sounds like i´m playing grunge. My groups other guitarrist has a 5150 with bc rich pickups and sounds better.
I will see how it works with the proco Rat.
Do you have it???

maybe marshall just isnt the tone you're going for... when you say it sounds like you're playing "grunge".... maybe a mesa? that would team up with a 5150 nicely.. you could probably sell or trade your jcm 2000 for a dual recto or something.... just a thought.

I know what you mean, I can never really get a good sound out of the Marshalls ive tried (and i have tried the one you have). If you really dont like it that much then I would suggest looking into a different amp.
