pretty strong. yes, its dark, and somewhat thick. has a roasted flavor to it, which some of my hispanic friends have referred to as "burnt coffee". they just dont like any dark beers though. but that is my favorite beer right there. most people i know hate it, but thats because they like regular, or light beers. funny thing is, i know plenty of guys who look like drinking beer is a chore. so while they seem to uncomfortably drink their common beer, i actually really... really, enjoy mine no less than a person enjoying their favorite ice cream. though i dont always get to have that one because its in the town over's grocery store.

Yeah, I know of people who see beer that way, just drink it to get it over with, wich makes me think why the hell are they drinking beer in the first place. I like beer, although haven't tried much, simply because I'm underaged.

I don't really drink anymore but I still have my preferences.

I like Mickey's, but not Mickey's Ice, the regular stuff is a lot better. Then again beers/malt liquors all taste pretty decent when you're accustomed to drinking Steel Reserve. Anybody that knows knows that that shit is pretty nasty and pretty evil.

I don't really go for straight hard liquor anymore. I was known to do a shot of 101 Wild Turkey from time to time, and I used to love Rumple Minze, though I haven't had it since I downed about 3/4 of a bottle in about 40 minutes, with 2/4 of it being in 20 minutes or so.

As for mixed drinks I like vodka and mountain dew at about 2:3 ratio respectively. I like White Russians and Black Russians, made with vanilla vodka if available. But above all I like Jagerbombs (that's Jagermeister and Red Bull done boilermaker style if you've been living under a rock), and I like my Jagerbombs half-and-half. Jagerbombs are a bit pricey, but if I really want to drink and I'm going to be paying for it, Jagerbombs are the way to go for me.

Well shit just throw some Rumple Minze in there and have Liquid Cocaines!! Those can be pretty dangerous though, but they do work like a fucking charm!

And you don't what Rumple Minze is? It's the primary (and damn near only brand worth drinking or mentioning for that matter) 100 proof peppermint schnapp! Quite delicious when ice cold, but I've found that if you hit a bottle too hard it'll hit you back that much harder.

Cool, I'll have to look for it. I've only drank drinks with peppermint snapps once...in a drink called a "Stinger" in the Dominican...I don't know if it's a real drink or just a resort drunk...but it lives up to it's name. :P

Im from the northwest. I like Rogue Shakespeare Stout, Dead Guy Ale, and their Chocolate Stout. Lost Coast out of California has a delicous 8 ball stout, and a refreshing citrus beer called Great White. I don't know what I'm going to be buying tonight, something tasty no doubt.

And America has awesome microbrews, you can't judge american beer based off of Budweiser, Coors, and other shit.

Rogue Dead Guy Ale is like the standard around here. It's expensive, it's very pale and it's pretty tasty. If you can try to get a Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar or Shakespeare Stout. I'm pretty sure the Shakespeare Stout is one of the best rated stouts in the world.

Hmm, I'm big into Ale's..never tried too many Stout's...I'll definitely have to do some sampling very soon!

Aftershock is pretty good. I don't think I'd ever buy it, but the one time I had it I liked it. It was unusual in the sense that I did 5 quick shots and I had a buzz that was good for at least a few hours. Nothing I would have expected, and have never experienced that with anything else.

in my opinion, if you drink too much of any alcohol, and especially if you haven't eaten or don't plenty of water before bed, you will have a hangover. i have had these drinks, but have never bought them. and have you never puked from drinking beer? i have, but i still love beer.

Ok...Absinthe...I've tried it before...it was LeFee..from France..which is 68%..with wormwood.....but my question is...is this the "real" shit? All I know is that I was so loaded that night(3 shots of absinthe, coupled with at least 14 beer and dessert drinks of crown and canada dry)...I couldn't laugh, so I don't know if I was hallucinating..or well, just extremely drunk.

I've heard the Czech shit is the "fake" stuff...fill me in simply because I may buy a quart of Le Fee Absinthe..for $69.95.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. It's mid range stuff, but very tastey, it has a floral grapefruit taste. You know, your typical pale ale flavor but very well balanaced and not overly bitter. Just a very a hoppy and flavorful beer that makes you want to take another drink.....and then another.

The Czech absinthe is certainly fake.I don't know about hte french stuff.
I made absinthe once(probably had nothing to do with the original stuff)
and it was amazingly bitter.After drinking some of it,it felt like a dream or
something,probably a different kind of drunkness.I think the hallucinations are a myth,people
who used it and got hallucinations used it in combination with smoking opium.

La Fee is the real deal. Make sure you prepare it correctly, with a slotted spoon, sugar and ice.

Czech absinthe is generally fake, although there isn't just one kind. There are several brands from every absinthe-making country.

Most good exported brands are from France or Spain, and will be expensive. They are very much an acquired taste. Bad exported brands are usually Czech and will taste like ultra-strength mouthwash muddled with vagrant's piss and herpe sores. If you look carefully, there are many many other brands to import yourself, usually from central/western Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland etc.)

I had 68 Strong last weekend and it was incredibly smoothed after the preparation. Unbelievably so. I was already buzzed at the time, but I definitely noticed there was something more to it than just alcohol. I don't remember the other two varieties, one of them was in a blue bottle, and when it became milky it had a blue hue to it. Beautiful beers my friend. I had Hair of the Dog Adam today, it's 10%. A Trappistes Rochefort 8 which is 9.2% and a Yet Imperial Oak Aged Stout which is 9.2%. I am wasted, cost me $15 for all this expensive gourmet beer but damn, I am wasted and it tastes great. The Trappises Rochefort wasn't great tasting though, but the mouthfeel etc. was amazing. Truely a medieval beer.
