I've bought St-Rémi brandy, Sandeman Porto, Orval trappist beer, and a beer from austria brewed one time in a year at 14% i've never seen a beer that strong.
It costs me 40$ for those 4 bottles.
The Orval is just AMAZING one of the best i've ever tried.

Yum, haven't had a Dead Guy Ale in sometime. I love the balance of it.
I 'finalized' my beer cellar late last night. Vacuumed the concrete floor of this 'bathroom that never was' in my basement and cleaned and installed some old shelving in the small room. Beer Cellar Complete! Now I just need some more beer.

Awesome. I've definitely noticed my friends started to grok the fact that Budweiser and Miller are pretty much piss. It's a good filler beer, but not much more.
Couple thoughts:
I wonder at what point of mass production the product has to suffer in taste. That would be an interesting study.
I find it funny that Budweiser is self-proclaimed "the king of beers," similar to America self-proclaiming itself "the best country in the world." lulz

I had the infamous Lion Stout from Sri Lanka. Beer authority Michael Jackson used to rave about this beer..and for good reason. A very solid, well-balanced imperial stout.

I also tried a Devil's Pale Ale from Ontario which was a lot better than I had expected. I've had the Winter Ale and Orange Peel Ale(recently released along with Devil's Pale Ale at the NSLC) and they were nothing to write home about.

NSLC also has Fuller's 1845 and Anchor Steam in singles now! WOOO!
Had a few other beers and drank the majority of a quart of Smirnoff split with my girlfriend..downing half vodka/orange pop concoctions in highball glasses. While taking a cab home I opened the window and puked all over the outside door while in motion. When I woke up there was a line of puke stain that I must have drooled all over my pillow.

God, that used to be me..I didn't drink for about a full month because my gf was in the hospital, so I was visiting her. Downing the equivalent of probably 8 shots in 5 minutes isn't for an Amateur.
I haven't been drinking nearly as much beer either since I got laid off at the brewery..gotta get back to my main hobby!

I'm a sub contractor in the fine world of fencing...all kinds. Wrought iron, concrete, cedar, chain link, lots of vinyl and I do decks and install our patented vinyl sheds and get some odd jobs doing welding.

Yeah, I was quite disappointed with the Fuller's ESB, because their beers are usually very solid. Don't let that experience mar you from trying other bitters however.
The Sleeman Brewery in Dartmouth is now selling Unibroue Blanche De Chambly sixers for $11.50. This is done because Sleeman bought Unibroue a number of years ago. You could get it here before at a private liquor store for $18 a sixpack! It's also kinda sweet because they have a drive-thru as well.

I got a bottle of cheap red wine and made a still out of a stainless pot, some copper tubing, a stainless temp gauge I took from work and a 2 liter bottle full of ice. I found an old propane grill in the dumpster at work that had the hot plate thing on the side which worked perfectly. Heated it up to about 80 degrees C for 15 minutes.... and whaddya know I then had a half of a small glass (maybe 4 or 5 ounces?) of clear flammable shit that makes your mouth burn and gets you drunk immediately. I'm gonna try it with yeast and sugar next time.

All beer should be enjoyed slightly chilled, cellar temp or colder. It's okay if a beer warms up, especially a high-percentage beer. Ice cold beer is used to mask unpleasant flavours(or lack there of) found in many 'mainstream' lagers/pilsners.
