well, I don't actually own the Tanglewood guitar and amp but I've had it borrowed from my uncle for ten monthes or so I think and I can have it as long as I want, he NEVER uses it.

Epi's can be some nice guitars. To say they all suck is just narrow minded. They are hit or miss as far as I'm concerned, but I have played some that play and sound better than... do I dare say it... Gibson's  |

My friend has a Gibson LP special, and an LP gothic. And we recently worked on customizing a 500$ (give or take) Epiphone. It now sounds better than both of his Gibsons.
Of course a 120$ Epiphone will sound like shit. But once you start getting towards the higher end ones, they're basically Gibsons, but you're not paying for the name on the headstock.

Why would you generalize all Epiphones as sucking if you play a PRS and Gibson. I have a PRS and used to have a Gibson...Some Epiphones can match them. Some Epiphones outplay Gibsons anyway. And a high Epiphone would certainly outplay a PRS Santana, or Tremonti. |
