If you trired a truss rod adjustment, then you might need a new truss rod.

Unless you know EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING, NEVER TOUCH THE FUCKING TRUSS ROD. YOU CAN AND PROBABLY WILL WARP THE NECK THAT WAY.
Take it to your local shop. They'll be able to fix it. You had the right idea with the truss rod though. I had the same problem with my bottom E string. My Guitar teacher fixed it.

well messing with the truss rod was a bad idea because it has to be done by a pro,but why don't u try raising the bridge a bit the strings will become higher and the buzz will desapeer,or since the 14th fret is what making the buzz try to polish it,go to this website GUITARPROJECT it has a lot of useful information use this link http://mywebpages.comcast.net/skgs/sk/fretcrowning.htm

Fret buzz most likely, take a long straitendge and place in against the frets, see if one if higher or lower than the others.

Has to be done by a pro? BS.
There's no reason in the world why it has to be done by a pro. Anyone who knows what (s)he's doing can (and IMO should) do it. However, the truss rod is not to fucked around with just for the hell of it.

Correct, its easy to turn an allen wrench...
adjusting it is hard, exspecially for the typical guitarist.

That really sucks....he may need to get a new guitar, but probably not.
An Allen Wrench? I use that for the tremolo settings, but for the truss rod i use this special tool that came w/ the guitar, its a little cap thingy...

Sounds like your truss rod has an 1/4 or 5/16 hex nut.
Im a fan of the Bullet Truss rod nuts, i have TONS of allen wrenches.

*sigh* You must be either fucking illiterate, or trying to be an asshole, because you are not understanding what I am saying. It is hard for, as BLS said, the typical guitarist because they have no idea what they are doing.
Now, you are being moronic by telling me that it isn't hard to someone who has no idea what they are doing.

Lol, im not good at this kind of stuff...well, i know how to do it, but i probably wouldn't do it right if i tried. I've only adjusted my tremelo setting twice, and my father helped me.

i think it's sad that so many people here know so little about the guitars that they love. truss rod adjustments are not difficult at all, especially on a fixed bridge. i learned how to do it on a floyd, where everything effects everything else and is a nightmare when trying to learn how to do a complete and proper setup.
go read some stuff. google for "guitar truss rod adjustment" or something. educate yourself. you CAN do permanent damage and completely ruin your guitar. it has a set neck, so it'd be less expensive to buy a new guitar if you break your rod or ruin the neck.
that said, it's very easy to do yourself. read for 30-45 minutes on what the rod is, what it does, how to measure the bow/relief of the neck, where it should be set at (which is partly preference-based), and how to set it.
********YOU PROBABLY JUST NEED NEW STRINGS**********
try that first.. it will help.. i'd almost guarantee it. i change strings like the devil, because i like a low action, but strings, as they age, stop vibrating nicely and will start to hit frets. also, maybe the height of your bridge was accidentally changed. if it wasn't, and you haven't just moved from mexico to greenland, your truss rod probably didn't need to be adjusted.

Haha Nihilist.
And yes, MTM, I've heard of people warping their necks by adjusting it too much, or turning it the wrong way.
Mctriple, read my previous post. Again I say, unless you know what you are doing, touching your truss rod is one of the Ten Commandments of guitarists. Its a "no no" unless you know how to do it.

Thanks for the inpute i guess..... I have heard stories of stuff but I am stubborn so I did it anyway. I did put 2 new sets of strings on there, one heavy and one light, both did the same thing. The only thing that did work was raising my action higher than normally should. I'm not going nuts about it because 1) Its not my main guitar and 2) It makes me angry every time I look at it because I wished I'd never bought it, but you cant change the past....
I just de-stringed it and hung it on my wall, its now a $300 wall orniment until it gets fixed...
