I just got there dvd ''Dream Theater - Metropolis 2000: Scenes From New York'' its very good, very impressed by the bass, drums, guitar and keyboards... of course Mike portnoy is a legend, haha. but yeah not too keen on the vocals.. ''The dance of eternity'' is such a good track, cos its an instrumental.. i also love the technique and riffage that Jon myung does.. he practically plays the guitar lines down a octave or harmony.. very impressive band..

I had a fucking migraine today. The first one for 5 fucking years and it has to occur when I have to sit in front of a fucking computer all day and fathom out income-expenditure and a nasty fucking bank reconciliation. Of all the fucking days.
Strangest thing is, I listened to Cryptopsy and Cannibal Corpse on the bus home and it was better. Still, the pain during working hours was immense and I would like to nominate migraines for admittance to Room 101, if I may.
At least I haven't got shingles though. That's pretty tough on you, Dissection.

The pain comes and goes. But it kept waking me up this morning. I just felt like I couldn't get back to sleep. It finally drove me out of bed at 6 am to take the medicine they gave me, plus 2 excedrin for the blinding headache that it gave me, and for the neck pain.
So yeah, its hell. And apparently this whore takes a few weeks to go away. FUCK. THAT.
