It isn't "newbs" ruining the site, it is the obnoxious regulars who have been here since the "beginning of time" who jump at every opportunity possible to make a pointless rant, which are usually respected for their length, not quality. Then they wonder why the forum sucks so much now.
He asked a simple question, though not very well worded, a very simple question. Give him your best answer and get the hell out. Especially when talking in the guitar forum for fuck sakes.

Go to mxtab's forum. The lessons in the forum are a BIG help. I know there is a scales thread in this forum, but I haven't used that one in awhile.
