Distortion 2
I read in a thread that effects pedals for distortion are not good. I was wondering what should I use if not a pedal?

maybe it isnt good but i do use the boss metal zone and digitech death metal pedals alot along with a few settings on my marshall
i think in the end its all about what the player him/herself likes but then again i could be dead wrong

i nice amp works for those who have money, but for us poor types, pedals work great, i use the digitech metalmaster for most of my distorted stuff.

Pedals/Boards that have amp modeling, I think, help make a kick fuckin ass distortion.

i can get a pretty kick ass distortion from my boss gt6 and thats a multi effects pedal, anyways if ya want good distortion get a good tube amp eg crate-blue voodoo, and use its distortion.

i like my boss ds-1 .Its doesnt sound thin..but has a good amount of distortion IMO..

I know. Mids were a little low.
