i need help :P
 i have to come up with a piece its got to last atleast 1.30 and its got to be in ternary form so 3 sections ABA
A- has to be a ska riff lasting 30 secs
b- has to contrast the ska riff so i was thinking maybe heavy metalish
A- is the same as the first a just repeated
section A has to be "good" and section B has to be "evil"
 i have been working on it for awhile but i cant get anything to fit
and i just end up wanting to destroy my bass   lol but its the worker not the equipment
so i have come in search in help, if any1 could give me a hand i would be ever so greatful  thank you all |

ska is easy, just play one step beyond in another scale, in the second "different part" play it with a pick and strum as fast as you can

i am not, i used to play drums and only recently start to play bass and i was entered in for bass instead of drums ! and i am not allowed to change it!
i was not asking for people to be creative for me, i just need a hand, i would have to be creative when preforming, i am merely asking for a hand because i have limited time and i am new to playing bass

I think it would help if you learnt some bass scales, and then you can pretty much go from there to be honest.. we cant really help you on anything cept give u advice to where to go.. so scales would be the right thing IMO.
