Have any of you guys heard this band. They're from eastern canada, but they've toured europe and the states. I like 'em, and they're metal.

Bucketruck fucking suck...I actually think my old band played a show with them, but we opened for the other bands too...although I'm not sure. At any rate I've seen them live and they're so nu-metal and bullshit it's disgusting.
For chirst's sake they have a bongo player with dreds.

I woudn't call them rip roaring thrash or any of your thousand metal genres, but i wouldn't call them nu-metal either. But that's your opinion. The lucky fuckers opened for damageplan and slayer in nfld though.

Yeah that's because they're from Newfoundland! What other "metal" band does Newfoundland have?? Or the maritimes for that matter, that a few people have heard of from other countries.
And opening for Damage Plan would be an embarresment.

No, however I do think they are shit.
I just thought most of it was lame, it was ok before seeing Slayer I guess. I mean, at least it wasn't Nickelback or something of the like.

Hey now, watch the newfy talk. 
But around here and N.B. its black metal that is mass produced, and 2-3 death metal bands only one is worth listening to, but buckettruck is nu-metal everyone around here says the same thing, I know dudes who have opened for them at the Pavilion and the Attic, and its nu-metal. Hell one guy chatted with the band and he was like "these guys are idiots", only one guy in the whole band like something other then "main stream" bands, and the rest where like "Sepultura sucks, all that underground stuff sucks." they even claim to be nu-metal.

fuck that man. a buddy of mine is good friends with the guys. They're into a bunch of different metal. But i guess if they claim to be nu-metal, then that's what they are. I like 'em anyway.
