SLAYER were forced to cancel their show in Myrtle Beach, SC Wednesday night (Sep. 1) after the band's frontman, Tom Araya, was allegedly rushed to a hospital as a result of suffering a bad allergic reaction. There was been no official update with regards to Tom's condition.

I dont know. They were touring with slipknot before ozzfest.But i may be wrong.

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE WAS BAD A$$
I went to the concert on November 5th at the Aragon and it kicked A$$ the only bad part was this band called Agent Zero. They reaked, and we all booed them off the stage. Killswitch Engage needs to tour with bands of their own like All That Remains, Bleeding Through(The keyboard player is soooo hot!!), Atreyu, As I lay dying, etc.

I saw the Det, MI show at harpos and I have to say it was a pretty damn good show. Mastodon fucking destroyed the stage. Killswitch was meh, the guitar had a massive ear fucking tone to it and I couldn't get into it. And it goes without saying that Slayer was great aside from the fact they only played a 90min set. Last jager tour they played for 2 hours i believe. All and all a great show.

Meh.. ive seen em three times and i never went to acually see them if ya know what i mean.
Extreme Steel Tour.. went for morbid angel and pantera
Headbangers Ball tour.. went for arch enemy
ozzfest.. went for many reasons, slayer wasent one of them
they played the same damn setlist all three shows

I had to put up with seeing just Mastadon on the 13th in Medford. I tried sooooooooo hard to go see Slayer in Portland but noooooo, I couldn't get a ride.
But either way, I think Mastadon sucks but small venue + lots of people = great pits. Plus there was a local band there that kicks ass every time they play.
