Ibanez SZ720FM HH Maple Top

The other guitar player in my band just asked me if he should get this guitar. He has a schecter devil's elite right now but wants a back up guitar. I dont know if this guitar is a good metal guitar. Anyone know?

I did read the neck is a little shorter than normal guitars.

meh, itd tell him to go with an rg370dx or a jem or an higher end S series. all of those are great guitars imo.
