lead tone

what effects would you reccomend for lead tone. i want something that screams through and with lots of sustain and distortion.

something that sounds good maybe?
preferably something where you can distingush the notes as well, as what good is your self indulgent fretboard masturbation if noboy can tell the notes apart, and its just a lot of sludge

the only effect i would suggest for leads would be chorus or wah i also like a lot or reverb but i dont think that really counts as an effect

I rarely use effects for solos. Usualy I just flip to the neck pickup and shred.

the only effects i use are chorus and delay. I aint a big fan of wah nor synth shit
