A Question...
Hey all,
Here's the deal. My friend bought a Washburn RS980 little over 4 months go and replaced the Duncans which come shop fitted with EMG Active Set (85 and 81). At this time I own a LTD KH-202 with EMG Passive set which are fine. Then my friend announces he is off to University and needs all the money he can get so hes selling alot of his stuff. So I buy the Washburn, the EMG's and the Duncans all for £230. Now, the plot thickens...
...I wanted to put the EMG Actives on my LTD and put the Duncans back on the Washburn as they will be much better that way...
...I have already swapped the EMG Actives for the Passives on my LTD (sounds fantastic BTW). So all I need to do now is fit the Duncans back onto the Washburn, "Easy" I hear you say. Well yes except I also have a Coil Tap to fit. Does anyone here know how I can go about this? Thanks in advance

http://guitarelectronics.zoovy.com/...iringresources/ Thier you go man, they have every wiring diagram you can imagine. If you need more help then post here and we'll figure it out.
And next time you need to contact someone outside of Metaltabs.com just click the little aim or yahoo icons on the top right of a post made by who you wish to contact. XDX is a lonely child who dosent have aim or yahoo.. or leave the gear talk forum

Thanks alot but I have looked at that site and none of the diagrams seem to match what i want. Here is a quick description of what I want.
Switch Position 1: Bridge Only
Switch Position 2: Dominant Bridge and Neck
Switch Position 3: Dominant Neck and Bridge
Switch Position 4: Neck Only
Switch Position 5: No Pickups
This would require the central Single Coil Pickup to be "invisible" so
to speak. And also there is the issue of fitting the coil tap...HELP!

No...#2/3 would be slightly different due to the different tones of the pickups. Also I want 5 to be nothing so If im not playing but leaving the guitar plugged in, I can just switch it to #5 so there is no sound. Also this is handy for sections of songs where I would not be needed .
