guitar pickups : DiMarzio X2-N?
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7...l/base_id/85075
Has anyone tried this humbucker for the bridge position?
Or am I better off investing in an EMG 81? Or just something from Seymour Duncan?
I've heard nothing but good things about this pickup ... but, if it were really that good, then would'nt many musicians be using them? The only person I've found that does is Chuck Schuldiner. Not that he had bad tone, of course not, but you get my point.
And would it be ideal for a B.C. Rich NJ Warlock? Their stock pickups suck, you know.
any response from you guys will be very appreciated!
p.s. If I order this pickup, I would'nt get the white color. In all black it looks great.

Shit, seems like I can't do anything right with message boards today ... I've got a hot, steaming branding-iron mark on my ass that says "n00b".
then I shall modify my post.

I just played a guitar with a X2N pickup today. It was a nice American-made Jackson guitar. Too bad there wasnt a single good amp at the store to play it through so I really cant say any thing about this pickup.
