Diezel VH4
i just found out adam jones of tool uses this amp, and i must say he gets some of the best, and heaviest sounds of iv ever heard... anyone know about these amps? they look fucking awsome... looks like 4 channels each with its own 3 band eq...
edit: holy shit... looks like they cost around $4000 bucks....

yeh, they're amazing... but hella $$$$$$$$$.... even used and abused ones can go for like $3,000 u.s.
there are many just as good if not better amps imo for cheaper.... bogner, framus, h&k, hell, even engl....

yeh, alot of people would.... i don't see why they're soo expensive...even for boutique stuff it's out there... a vht pittbull, soldano slo 100,bogner uberschall,framus cobra,framus dragon, bogner xtc, hughes and kettner triamp,engl savage, engl powerball, engl fireball, ect... could all easily compete with the vh4 imo...
and adam jone's distortion isnt that great... it's very easy to mimic... not alot of gain either... hell a hot-rodded tube screamer probably has almost as much gain as his tone....
by no means would i say he has extremely heavy tone.... it's good but not very heavy.

the thing is... a deizel vh4 can acheive alot more sounds than an uberschall... the uberschall is just an insanely thick and beautiful sounding high gain head... with a clean channel.... but the vh4 is ment to give more flexibility and range to the tones you can acheive....
i wouldnt complain either way....
