its the Engl Savage 60

its only been in production for a short while to make place for the fireball and powerball series, which is the bridge between the screamer/thunder series and the savage 120 (and ofcourse the richie blackmore signature amp)

they stopped making them back in 98 or something...

anyways, I got lucky with it, got it in germany but it was worth the drive, if you ever see one, go check it out, I highly recommend any piece of Engl gear actually, but this amp is the best I've ever owned and I've owned a whole bunch ranging from a bunch of tube marshalls, some peaveys and a bunch of combos and I've played most boutique amps and loads of other tube amps, Engl stuff is great for metal, tight distortion, loads of low end and an endless ammount of gain.
I heard they're really hard to get in the US though, but I guess the newer ones like the powerball/fireball and maybe the Savage 120 must be around somewhere... don't expect them to be cheap though, but if you've heard them, you can only say the price is fair...

yeah, hughes and kettner has good amps which are really versatile, their tube amps are great, like the Zen Terra and Triamp amps. but it really depends on your budget man, the stuff I'm talking about is all 1000+ bucks for just the head...

I guess H&K stuff would be easier to find in the US since they've hit it big there with the nu-metal amps like the warp 7 and shit, they seem to be selling REALLY well there.

oh its 60w's all A class tube... but don't worry its loud enough to blow an 100w solid state amp out of the water. compared to my 100w full tube rack setup (engl preamp and peavey poweramp) its allmost just as loud, only the Savage head stays tight at insane volumes, the more you turn it up the better it sounds!
