i gotta know this. of all the bands uve listened to, who is ur top three favorite soloist. 1 being most favorite, and so on. for me it goes.
1. Dimebag Darrel
2. Randy Rhodes
3. Alexi Laiho
they all have the best solos u can think of.

1)Joe satriani, because he's completely immense on guitar and can solo in every style.
2)Chuck Schuldiner, because his solo's and songs are inspiring

kurt cobain, i mean, the solo to "smell's like teen spirit" has got to be the most genius thing ive ever heard, who ever woulda thunk of playing the same melody line that he "sang" in the verse, once again genius.

Eric Hoffman on the new Deicide is worth mentioning...the sweeping and neo-classical stuff he does is probably child's play to someone like Yngwie or Vai but in the death metal context it rules.

1) diabolic (cant help to love their solos)
2) hate etenal (cant help to love their/his solos either)
3) cryptopsy (cant help to love their solos either 2)
i couldgo on like this up to nr100 i guess
