haha, I just re-read this is noticed I completly changed the entire concept of this poem. It was supposed to be about love, but turned into a murderous sceme.

heehee I couldn't resist with all the red stuff in there. Which brings me to this --since you have red in the first part and red in the second and cherry in the latter, why not maybe ruby or alizarin in the first, crimson in the next and leave the cherry. Just an idea.

What's the Question? The strings from low to high are G-D-A-E, which is the same as a string bass but backwards. They're the littlest stringed instrument. A fiddle is another word for a violin, but they are the exact same instrument. People only call it a fiddle because they are hics.

Not what I want to know. My friend has me researching one she got from her aunt that was in an orchestra long ago. It's made by E.B. Root and Sons of Chicago. And from what I've found out they were in business about the turn of the century 1900's. I also found reference to a horn maker that worked there til 1914, but nothing on violin makers. It's a 550 model Stradovarious (sp?) and she has the orignal case and a horsehair bow for it. Also some extra keys and stuff.

Impressive. I hope it's in good condition because the Stradovarious instruments are pretty abumdant and famous especially in violins and basses. Great sound. Can she play it, or she just....has it and wants to know it's history?

She doesn't play but she remembers her aunt playing it when she was a kid. Next time I'm over there I'll ask her if I can see it.
She showed me some other nonmusical antique things and what she thought went together was from 3 different countries from the language used. That was neat so I'm researching those things for her, too.
