On no boundaries he has those awesome tapping arpeggios near the end that are VERY fast. I'm not talking those high e string tapping ones, but the arpeggios with tapping on each string all the way up, and down.

On prog, he shreds full out for about a minute at the very end, just nuts.

Serrana because of the fast arpeggios of course.

5th caprice for when he does the crazy improvising at the end. I've never seen such crazy finger work. He doesn't do it michael angelo style, where there are only three finger positions. He goes all the way up the fretboard, and down, while still sounding like the caprice song. INCREDIBLE.

AND on the video live in japan where he does the yoyo solo, he plays serrana even faster than the video on his site.

Necrophobic is much faster than the other songs you listed. Also, I should mention Possessed. Most of their songs aren't extremely fast through and through but they have VERY fast parts, like the intro to "Burning in Hell" and the main riff in "The Heretic". The intro riff to Morbid Angel's "Rebel Lands" is also very fast, it doesn't sound like it, but if you try to play it you will notice how fucked up it is. Brainstorm has some crazy fast riffs, I love playing that song.

Necrophagist are pretty fucking fast.

i would say the fastest guitaring i've heard is that of psycroptic's joe haley. on a song like "the colour of sleep" or "skin coffin" the guitar work is truly mind numbing.

Execration Text by Nile (check out SpiritCrusher's tab, it's fucking awesome) has pretty fast guitar work (and drumming for that matter).

Next to that..
Absu " A shield with an Iron Face
Hypocrisy "God Is A Lie"
Slayer "Jesus Saves"..
But I know there's a lot more bands and tunes that are really fast as well.
Hell, Deicide has some of the fastest picking too.

Well yeah, theyre like the fastest band ever, but thats only because of the drum machine. Fastest natural band has to be afore mentioned Sadistik though.

Look in his GEAR section, and you'll find some info on his gear, part of that being his guitar. It's just some boutique luthier's RG copy.


Anyway, not to drift too far off topic, Fastest guitar...er.. I would have instantly said some Nile tracks, or some Vital Remains maybe. But there are faster grind bands who I've never heard of I'll bet.

Not speaking for myself, alot of people like to think of songs as really fast because of how short they are...take Slayer's Sex.Murder.Art for example, not the fastest song but still fast, but alot of people still say "oh man, that's their fastest since Necrophobic" because it's just as short.

No, that's wrong. The first album was a drum machine, and the second there's nothing extrordinarily fast, except maybe Pure Hatred or that bit in Corporeal Jigsore Quandary. Well thats what i think anyway.

the filmclip is when they had there drummer. the album IS actually a drum machine. ive got the DVD and it shows them recording it. no drummer, just a machine. i suggest you get it.
