Which amps?
I am sure there are lot's of other threads like this but I haven't really looked and mine might be a tad different so anyways, what do you guy's think of a B52 half stack? I don't have much money to spend on a amp, well I actually have NO money at the moment but am going to save up and I have played a B52 once before and thought it was alright and sounded good enough for me but who here has one and does it work good for a few years or will I start having problems with the damn thing? I was going to save for a half stack Mesa but I can't be spending that much money on an amp at the moment or any years to come. If anyone know's of any deals anywhere or a good combo that will last a long time and has a really good clear sound and all then please let me know.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Bls is correct, but for the best bang for your buck... get a crate Gx-130c (used on tomb of the mutilated by cannibal corpse... and alot of bands too, like poison) and build your own cabinet with Celestion Vintage 30s.

used crate blue voodoo.... way cheap.
how much exactly is your limit?
i personally think b52 guitar shit sucks... but hey, if it's your thing.
it doesnt have to say mesa to be good. there are many, many better amp makers than mesa.... but shit can be pricey.

HMm, WEll i got my Half stack for about 550-650, if thats what your willing to spend then i suggest that you gte a 5150 and start with a Crate 120 watt cab, that was the first cba i had, but then i needed a louder sound so i got a marshall 300 watt 1960a/b cab for 375, and 5150's are used by many many artists, i give this head a 10/10, you should deffinately check it out...At most used guitar gear places you could find a 5150 for 250-300$, and they sound so good. Il post a pic of my gear, once i figure out how... How do i post a picture of a jpg? it says its too big, so how do i compress the file?

Alright cool man thanks a lot I will check that out. The most I can spend right now would be 800 bucks but I am going to save up later on in a few months and would like to spend about 1500 on an amp.

Put it in photoshop or something and shrink it.

good luck trying to find a 5150 for $250-300... seriously....maybe the cab, but not the head. you shouldnt get kid's hopes up.... you might have got a lucky find, but shit like that is rare.

Don't worry I won't get my hopes up. I don't count on finding one that cheap and I am not even close to even buying any amp so I have time to look around and get oppinions and all.
