A Megadeth Question...
I was told by a friend of mine that since Dave Mustaine's conversion to Christianity, Megadeth hasn't been playing "Holy Wars... The Punishment Due", (My favorite Megadeth song). Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Im not sure but I dont doubt its true after 9/11 they stoped playing one of their songs thats about anarchy (cant remember the title) cause he thought that "we dont need anarchy right now, thats the last thing we need"
but uh why does it matter you going to see them live?

When they come through town eventually, yeah. Mustaine said he's been trying to contact Exodus, Testament, and Death Angel, so, if by some stroke of impossible luck that tour comes to pass, I'll be the first in line.
I think they stopped playing their cover of The Sex Pistol's "Anarchy in the U.K." after 9/11.

that might have been it, i remeber seeing them on some metal show where they said that for this tour they let the fans vote on what songs they wanted to hear and the anarchy one was the top one but "nope were not gonna play it"

Yeah, I think it was Anthrax, especially since Charlie Benante hinted at it in his latest Blast Beat article on Anthrax.com.
Anyway, I'm just looking forward to seeing some quality thrash.

I'm with BLS all the way on this one. Thrash with an "H". It's not our fault some European guy in the 80's fucked up the word with his accent and it's been like that in Europe and eventually spread to Australia. Of course, that's mere speculation, but hell, it's probably true. Either way, THrash metal kicks ass. THrash metal owns everything that ever was. I  THrash metal! |
