Odd Time Signatures

Anyone have any sites that could help me better understand odd time signatures. I know what they basically hold but I'd like to hear some comparision with 4/4 and 3/4 etc whatever. Just to see and learn so I can try myself.

I'm sure Steve Vai's page will have lessons on it and plenty of material for you to read up on. He's definitely got lessons on polyrhythms, which utilize a lot of theory on time signatures. Somebody posted them on this site about 6 months ago. Do a search for polyrhythms and you should find the thread that contained the link.

EDIT: Fuck it, I found the link for you. It links to Vai's site so I'm sure you can navigate to other more time signature-specific lessons from there.
