Marshall Mode 4 Cabs

I never heard or played the head but Fear Factory use the cabs on the new album and Christian's tone rips Dino's to shreds. Anybody use these? Are they better than the JCM ones for heavy music?

imo they're pretty much mesa recto cabs with marshall logos.......... standard 1960 cabs have g12t-75's the mode 4 cabs have vintage 30's and are a bit larger.
it just depends how how much you want to pay and or which ones you like better.
alot of people prefer marshall 1960 cabs over mesa recto cabs and vise versa....

there are 400 watt m4 cabs with k100 speakers.

Dino's tone is alot different man.......especially on the Digimortal album, but thats just pants.

Whats better for a death metal sound then a M4 or 1960?

it depends on the head, your style and the guitar......... personally, i'd buy a straight m4(v30) and a 1960a and team em' up
