OK, i ld aprecciate if u can tell me whats better...I have a GT6 now playin though a small 60 watts laney and of course, i amplify it always with PA, i can get some cool distortions there, i like a lot the sound but im gonna change a bit...
I tested a Road King head and fuckin love it, im inlove with that thing but the prob is that i need to test some things that arent sold here in my country but i may be travelin to get this things...well the point is this:

1 Buy a pod pro or XT wathever or a flextone amp or a line 6 head
I once played a flextone 2 and i felt the distortion kinda too metalic, extremely metalic distortion and dunno i didnt like it but maybe i like it now....some recommendations here plz...

2 Buy H&K stuff
I really know almost nothin bout this amps, i have only seen em, so if u have this amps how ddo they sound??? wich band uses em??? any samples???

3 Go for the MESA!!!!
pretty expensive but i really need to pick up something that i may not be tired of and get confy with it...dunno...kinda dizzy bout this...

BTW I play progressive, jazz, hard rock and speed & death metal...

if you want a lot of versatilty check out the H&K Zen Terra, DuoTone or even the Triamp.

oh, its not a matter of 'who uses those amps' theres loads of peeps playing H&K, but its not even important to give names IMO, a good brand doesn't need official endorsers (thats the H&K spirit)

IMO they're more versatile then mesa's (well, not counting in the rack triaxis here but hey) but if you loved the mesa, then go for it, but don't count out h&k.

i myself have only played a couple line 6 setups that i felt comfortable with the sounds.....

but imo, not worth the money..........

as for h&k..... stay away from lower end stuff, like the vortex and warp 7.... the new warp t's or x's look pretty promising and i've hear nothing but good about them...........
i'd have to say the duotone and the triamp are probably the best all around heads ever made.... fender-ish cleans to beyond recto gain... no problems for them.

mesa... the road king is one super amp, i'd say it actually competes with alot of top notch botique stuff. so i think that would be a good choice if you know you like it....

but seeing as you probably have the money...... i'm going to suggest some "botique-ish" amps too.

i think i saw a cobra on harmony central's classifieds.... the guy said he'd be putting it up on ebay soon.... he was asking like $1700.... which is a total steal....

funny you mentioned Unearth, when they recorded 'Strings of Conscience' they used ENGL amps with marshall 1960 cabs I've talked to them about a year ago when they played in Arnhem (GVH), cool guys, great show and great new album...

Framus is good shit though.

About Unearth's tone.... its sound horrible on "The Stings of Conscience" exspecially "One Step Away" it sounds fake. But ive played a framus dragon and it didnt sound like that so i dont know wtf they did wrong...

unearth has amazing tone always imo... i saw them a little over a week ago with lamb of god and every time i die.... one guy had a framus cobra and dragon(backup), the other guy had a cobra and a mesa recto(backup)........
both had amazing tone..... but have you heard their new cd?"the on coming storm".... it's awesome... the i like the sound of everything a bit better than stings of conscience... but live or recorded, they always have a great sound.

No, ive only heard "The Stings of Conscience" i dunno most of the cd has a decent tone, but sometimes theirs just something to it.. i dont know what it is but it makes it sound "fake" i guess, it could be the quality of the recording though.
