Which od pedal is the best. Ive heard the boss od3 is superior to the sd1 in that it has a flat eq boost, more of it, and less noise. But I've also heard that the mxr zakk wylde pedal is basically just a better version of the sd1. And I've never seen anyone compare the two to eachother so i was wondering if anyone here has used both.

isnt there a guitar center or sam ash or something around you?

nope, ive been to a gc once when out of town and never even seen a sam ash. All we have here is a few crappy music stores with beginner guitars and maybe a few gibsons and fenders.

they rock for medium gain amps like jcm800's, sovtek migs, ect.
so if you just want a bit more grit and or more powerful o.d. out of your amp's dist.... i highly reccomend one.

i belveive zakk W. has now replaced his sd-1 with his new signature pedal. but i'm not his roady so i couldnt garauntee that....

i also think the od3 is a pretty good pedal....
