Asking for a Critique

Just hoping that maybe I could ask some of the folks here at Metaltabs if they might take a quick listen to some things I've written. Maybe critique them as harshly as possible? Im trying to improve my own style.

Specifically, if someone would be so kind as to listen to "We the Seraphim"

Thank you for your time

Edit: I realize they are of poor quality, I recorded it using Windows Recorder

Use AlienConnections ReValver. It's not the best, but it comes with a shitload of effects, and it's damn better than Windows Media Recorder. Download the demo, there are ways to get around it...

The first sound track has a very Opeth feel to it. Sound isn't great, but overall, very good.

Nice,I liked the acoustic one,the one with all the guitars sounded kinda confusing a bit too much, but maybe it's a volume thing the last one,was pretty bad too, even tho I didn't like it,since it's not the style I like, but that's just my opinion.

We the Seraphim was good in a flowing, otherworldly way. Personally, though, I like things to be more directed with a more coherent sense of movement from one idea/riff/theme to another. Maybe my tastes are just less experimental than yours.

I liked "Beth", but it gets too messy at times, like there's too much going on. You should seriously slow it down at times and make it more dynamic.

Silence can sometimes be your best friend =)

"Skeleton" bored me out after half a minute tho, definitely not my style.

"We the Seraphim" has as a lot of nice ideas in it, but as with the first track, bring in some variation in mood by mellowing it down in places, and not just going full blast with a million voices at the same time.

Wow, I wasn't sure I'd get any replies at all. Thanks so much guys, especially Carnal Altar and Julhelm. I appreciate the honesty very much.

Yeah, no problem.

I might be hosting my bands demo in a month or two. We have one song recorded, and we are going to record a few more for a demo. So hopefully I'll be able to get some good feedback.
