VADER: 'The Beast' Cover Posted Online
The cover artwork for the new VADER album, "The Beast", has been posted online at this location
"The Beast" is scheduled for release on September 20 through Metal Blade Records. The first single — including the track "Beware The Beast" and another new song, a report from the studio and a video — will be released on August 31 with the 4/2004 issue of Thrash 'em All magazine. A limited–edition version of the album will contain a bonus DVD including a report from the studio, a video clip recorded during the session, and "a fragment of one of the most important gigs in 2003," according to a posting on the band's web site.
"The Beast" was recorded at Radio Gdansk Studio with producer Piotr Lukaszewski ("Reign Forever World", "Revelations", "Blood") and was mixed while the band were away on the first part of their European tour. Jacek Wisniewski was responsible for the album artwork and other graphics. The mastering session took place on July 1.

Vader suck. They are Death/Thrash, and that is very annoying. Too thrashy for my death metal, and too Death for my thrash.

Vader is a great band, but they are one of those bands that never progresses.

That's crazy, man. Vader are fucking fabulous. Vader are like a McDonald's meal (apart from the fact that they're good & don't give you colon cancer): You put on a Vader cd, & you always, always know what you're going to get.

As much as I don't like new In Flames, I respect them moving forward. I would rather them making this new material than them trying to reproduce Jester Race over, and over again.

Artwork aint so impressive.
Early Vader material is the best imo (The Ultimate Incantation, De Produndis). Otherwise they're pretty overrated.

I love Vader. But yes it does sound the same. LOL But if something is good..stick with it. Don't sell out like Carcass or Metallica.
The only real question I have to ask is. What tunning do Vader use?

And how did Carcass sell out? A change in sound isn't selling out.

If changing their sound is "selling out", they sold out on Necroticism.

People bitch about carcass selling out... maybe they think creating a new genre of music and not following a trend of sludgy, incoherent noise is selling out??
and Darko.. in flames didnt progress.

I wish they never did Heartwork. Reek of Putrefaction and Symphonies of Sickness was their finest hour.

Yeh if you like sludgy, incoherent bullshit with the same lyrics for every song. Also extremely shitty production, they were doing nothing new.. just the same old shit.
Heartwork is a peice of art. Probably my favorite cd of all time.
