Grotesque Calling Card
I decided to go ahead and post some song lyrics I've written from when I was in a gore metal band named Hanging Gutted Torsos. This song is about how we came about our name. Keep in mind I'm no Shakespear, so if they suck remember that we wasn't very serious so we worte songs in a manner of minutes. And if I did just sit down and gave time to try to write good lyrics, they'd probally still suck. Oh well.
Retchid pile of broken flesh
Female corpse lays stabbed to death
A fucking cunt, a stupid whore
She won't pray anymore
Another vicitim upon the floor
In this scene of fucking gore
Kneeling down to her side
As the blades begins to slide
The smell of gas begins to rise
As the chainsaw begins to cry
I hack off her limbs
Nercopathic Imagery
Shreds of flesh surrounding me
Masochristic Surgery
Guts exposed and begins to bleed
Hanging by a loggers chain
Innards desend and begins to drain
Nerves still twitching without pain
And I just stare as I watch them hang

ahhh, hehe, didnt you post something about this band of yours someplace else? i remember someone said their band was just for fun and it was called something like that, and that there were tonnes of songs written in an hour.

I love the thread title. straight up awesome. didn't think much of the lyrics though.
whatever, just keep writing all the stuff...it'll eventually get better.

The first stanza was good except the first two lines, those didn't match the rest.

Gore is boring. Its all been done. Im working on stuff other than gore, because thats all i used to be able to write. Theres nothing shocking about gore and rape and shit like that anymore.
Anyway, it was alright. Looks like you were out of ideas at times though.

Yeah you could say that. I wrote alot of song all at on time because we wanted a set for our first and only show. So I guess I ran out of fancy ways to kill vicitims and fancy medical terms.
