Their website makes them look gay with the lame "axes and razorblades" and shit like that, but these guys are great. They have a demo out, but the songs I heard them practice around last fall were better than the songs on the demo, which is saying a lot, because the demo itself is pretty good. If these guys come out with a full length album, I would buy it. On top of that, they are cool guys. I really hope they have great success, they have the potential to be something awesome.

These guys are another good local band. I don't like them as much as The Accursed, but I've never really heard them practice, and all I've had to go on is their first album. Reviewers have said they sound like "Iron Maiden on steroids", and they actually kinda do, oddly enough. It's good stuff. Last time I knew, they were signed to Metal Blade and had a second album on the way, but I'm sure by now that album has been out for a while.
I'm know there are other true metal bands in my area, I just don't know who they are.
