Is it anywhere near Jane Doe?

I am eagerly anticipating this album - it seems they've been working on it for decades. December isn't too far off, I suppose. If the album is half as good as Jane Doe then it will still be stunning but I think it will be interesting to hear what boundaries they push on the new record.

Muahaha, I just got it off Soulseek. I'm such a weiner.

So far it sounds allright to me, I haven't absorbed it yet and I'm only half way through. Right now their is a nice little acoustic song playing that I am enjoying. The vocals are different too which is good, its less distorted (not that I didn't like the old vocals). I like it when vocalists change up their style, gives it more dynamic. I'll add my final opinion on the album in a few days when I have had enough time to really get into it.

From what you describe it sounds good. I don't think Converge could ever put a bad album out.
