Hey guys,

I am in the market for an amp. Price is not really an issue. However there are a few stipulations.

Please let me know any suggestions.

1. Solid state (Tube emulation)
2. 100 Watts
3. Headphone jack (I live in a dorimitory enviroment)
4. "Great" Tone
5. Reverb and Stereo Chorus
6. Pure Metal Distortion (Lamb of god, Deicide, SFU)

I have been looking at the new RG100SC/G2 by Randall, Trademark 120 by Tech21 and the XXL by Peavey. As far as I know only the Randall and Tech21 have headphone capabilities.

peavey has good solid state amps for good prices.

though no tube-emulation really sounds like a true tube amp IMO.

Out of those id go with the XXL, but like Def said... they just cause their "tube emulation" dosent mean they sound tube.

line 6 pod pro(it exceeds all your requirements ) + some sort of 100w poweramp(depends on which brand and if you want tube or not) + avatar __x12 cab.......
might cost a pretty penney, but it would sound good.... the kinda rig you could tweek with for a long time....
