Down?
Ive been listing to alot of Down lately. I think their awesome. I dont like them as much as Pantera (Their not as heavy). I like Phils did a good job in Down. I think they should get back together. What do u think?

i like them too, and agree that they should get together, but its not gonna happen. Phil is the biggest dumbass in metal, hes so big into his new band Superjoint Ritual, but IMO they suck. Pantera was amazing, Down was good, and Superjoint is far below anything Down ever made. Phil makes some bad career choices. but hell, if he likes the music hes making then whatever, all power to him. lol sorry this isnt a Phillip Anselmo thread...

I agree all of his bands have gotten worse. I think hes the biggest dumbass to leave pantera. Then when he left down I lost respect for him.

Down is the better of that drug-fucked goon's side projects. None of his endeavours are yet to beat Damageplan, however, strictly because Anselmo's so very obsessed with killing Pantera off instead of concentrating on producing something listenable.

Pretty talented band.
I never got to see Pantera live, but I saw Down on their last tour, and saw Superjoint Ritual yesterday, and I must say, Down fucking owns SUperjoint.
Phil even brought out Rex yesterday, but not to play bass. Oh no, it's not like that's his job or anything. Phil just talked more shit on Pantera.
I dig Superjoint, but a live show can make or break a band. Thanks Phil.
