Kataklysm is a little over-rated considering Martyr, Cryptopsy, Despised Icon and Gorguts are from Montreal as well...they're still good for headbanging riffs here and there and they do put on a descent show, especially if thier drummer does a solo every time.

Well yeah, everybody who heared Cryptopsy and Flo Mounier knows thery ain't more exetreme metal drumming , but on Oct. 12 tour is comming to Croatia (holy fuck!!) so I just can't miss it!! right now listening old Kataklysm - Sorcery - that's extreme!!!although I just love Prophecy & Epic - it's got that Pantera like feel!!!neck-smashing riffs!!!

As previously reported, KATAKLYSM have reached an agreement with Linus Ent./Warner Music Canada regarding the re-release of the group's "Victims of this Fallen World" (1998) and "Northern Hyperblast Live" (1999) albums — a "deal that will benefit both parties involved," according to a press release. "The band is happy that this got solved in a good way, its not something you see often in the music businness."

The U.S. release will contain the new version of "Victims of this Fallen World" (newly re-recorded, remixed and remasterd) and "Northern HyperbLast" live DCD (2 in 1), Canada and Europe will get the original version of "Victims…"/"Northern Hyperblast Live" DCD (2 in 1), while both Europe and Canada will see the new version of "Victims of this Fallen World" released separately sometime in 2005 .

The release schedule is as follows:

USA: Candlelight USA/Caroline (October)
Canada: Linus Ent./Warner Music Canada (September)
Europe: Blackend/Phd (September)

I'we got to share with you guys!!!
On thuesday I went to Osijek to see Kataklysm live!!!!
I traveled with couple of friends 300 kilometars from Zagreb to Osijek(I'm from Croatia). The day was nasty, cold and rainy.....the moment we arrived I saw Maurizio standing outside with some graveworm guyz. The first thing i did - wished a welcome to all, and congratulate Maurizio for a newborn son.

It was 5 pm when we arrived, and I talked all the time with all the people, J.F. , Stephane, the other Stephane -guitarist from Graveworm, the basist - very cool and funny guys!!!I also had a dinner with all the bands....I arranged and did a video interview with J.F.
It was one amasing evening!!!

Now!!
at 9 pm Into Eternity opened.I just heared their new album during trip to Osijek, and it didn't impress me. Bud on stage they were amasing!!!very original music!!
Mystic Circle was the worst that night.There was no comunication with audience, the music - boooooooring!!
Gravewor did show so good, the people went crazy!jumping all over the place. too bad only 150 people came that night.

They opened with Manipulator of Souls!!!oh yeah!!!The Madness started!!!
Illuminati, Ambassador of Pain followed........the guitar sound was bone crushing!!J.F. played Line6 HD147 head!!! Me and few other K. maniacs sang all the fucking songs!!Maurizio even let me to play with him chorus for For All Our Sins, ya know the screaming part Peter Tagtgren did on a record!!!
The people were juping on the stage and dive all around, and when security guy wanted to push them off the stage Maurizio told them not to do it!!!THIS IS THE REAL SPIRT OF METAL!!!!!
Thank you ALL for this amasing show!!things like that happen once in a lifetime!!!
