I tried to match mine up with something from Vehemence. "My Own Savior" is a lyric from one of their songs.

Yeah, I figured the song and the lyric would become confused. I kinda see what you mean by annoying. Kinda like I'm advertising or something.
OH YEAH! POST 200

I got my name a long time ago from a line in a Slayer song called Gemini. I use it for everything.
"Endure the pain
you know my name
I am your soul insane
I am no one
no one who cares
I am your soul despair
Your fear deceives
vulnerability
leaving an easy prey
Consume your mind
a power so divine
will take you and rape you blind
Gemini master of demise
your death is my salvation
to a kingdom mine
my lord is my light
the master of darkness
your death is my salvation
to a kingdom mine
You look at me with eyes of fate
and see the graphic truth
Your ignorance cannot shield you
from your naked abuse
numbing of your moral sense
facing reality
That life is unconditional
and death is only the beginning
The pain will never end...
Walking slow, breathing heavy
you could see death sweat
how it shined
an argument out of control in my mind
I am here for the sole purpose of your death
walking slow breathing heavy
you can see death sweat.
I am here for the sole purpose of death
look into my eyes and see the revelation of your demise
feel the pain that stares at the center of your heart
reflections of my soul
reflections of the dark"
Great song! Guess what it's about

It was way different for Slayer, but there are some great parts in it. I didn't like it at first, but the lyrics got stuck in my head for days and days until I listened to it more and more. Now its one of my favorate songs to play and listen to.

That was actually the first slayer cd i heard. But i already knew that wasnt their actual style. I might have heard one song before that cd, and it was their real stuff. Besides, that cd says something about a punk tribute on it. Im not 100% on that, it was years ago. Its still pretty good though.

Yes, that album was a punk tribute, but Gemini is a Slayers song.
Applish, it is depressing but I'm not happy unless I'm miserable sometimes. It's all about how you look at it. I will need no band aid. Thanks anyway.
And no one trouble this girl, please. She is cool and OK with me, plus she knows me well enough to say things like that, so leave her alone ( Dissection ), K?

It's not worth getting just for that song either. Gemini is ok, the lyrics are haunting, but it sounded like Slayer playing Black Sabbath. Not a bad thing but not very Slayerish either. Thats where I got my alias though.
Just extra info: I heard a song that Slayer covered call "In Da Goda Da Veda" by Iron Butterfly once and it rocked! It was just funny to hear Tom sceaming the lyrics with heavy guitars and drums playing that song Anyone else hear it before? I can't remember where I heard it and I can't find it on record. I know they did it, but it's one of those hard to find treasures. I would blast it everyday into work if I had it, " IN DA GODA DA FUCKIN VEDA BABY..."

they did it for some movie soundtrack, i read somewhere that they really didnt want to do it but they did anyway
you probably already know this but owell, the line In Da Goda Da Veda was supposed to be "in the garden of eden" but when they recorded the singer was so fucked up on drugs he couldnt say it right

Thats why the song is so funny to me. I bet Iron Butterfly woke up the next day and was like, "did we ever get to the recording studio yesterday"? The album gets pressed and the song is on it It was a hit though and I like it. Sounds so funny and Slayer makes it even better. It sounded like they were pissed off recording it too

i went out with my friend valerie for sashimi today and I ate so much of it...it was ridiculous man. A ten euro all you can eat sashimi buffet is hard to resist for someone like me. anywho later i had a rainbow sherbert milkshake from baskin-robbins and I got really ill.
I haven't thrown up like that since the who-can-drink-a-mofo-gallon-of-whole-milk-for-a-hundred-bucks-without-vomiting-and-within-the-time-limit-of-an-hour-contest-....-thingy. And that was a year ago. I don't throw up enough to be a real teenage girl. oh dither (j/k)
whole milk turns to cottage cheese in your stomach if you drink enough. I thought I had milk poisoning.
this post has gotta make you hungry for e-zmac. I'm a go eat a burger.
