looking for the right guitar, can you help?
hey everyone
I've been looking for a 7 string with a floyd rose now for ages
but could only find ones that were ither too cheap or too expensive.
When i finally found one i wanted (an ibanez s 7string) i found out that they had stoped making them, which pissed me off abit! Apparently they don't make the Ibanez RG7420 7-String anymore which would have been one id get!
Does anyone know if you can get hold of a ironbird or jr. v 7 string ?
Anything with a floyd rose really!! As long as it isnt shabby!
I dunno.. all this searching & staring at this screen has fried my brain!!

have you tried ebay or a music store with a used section?? im not sure if its the same model but i know my local store has a used 7-string ibanez

Noqw wwe are speaking about guitars and ebay, do you know that warlock (i think its mick thompson signature) that is a warlock bc rich that is black with a white trim and EMGs????
I want some of those, but here in Europe is very difficult to find the one i want, if you know, please tell me, please.

I want one like that but no the one that cames with the poster, nor skulls nor metal master kit,....
I want the one that that has plain body with a white trim and EMG,s. That is why i don´t find it. i don,t want the plastic one without EMGs
I don´t know if it exists, but i want that.

yea iv'e looked on ebay afew times, there was this really nice one going on there im not sure what make it was but it had a kinda ibanez s style body on it.
A jem v77 (or v777, not sure) would be the perfect guitar but theyr pertty expensive!!

I saw pictures of it being finished. It looks not as cool done. It has a gold finish which looks pretty bad. It is neck thru but instead of the joint being nice and sculpted, it looks like its a bolt on which defeats the purpose... Overall, cool shape and idea, bad final product.

it looks alright, but the rosewood fingerboard looks pretty dodgy and the colours a bit crappy aswell. Maybe he should of got a maple fretboard, it would of looked better against the gold
