I don't know if I like this title or not. It sorta fits, but I'm up for and outside ideas...

Once and For All

Hate, easing slowly but painfully through me
Longing for the hour of black remembrance
Taking so long to fulfill its duty and take part
So we may neither live nor die but rein as one

Gathering up my strength to battle and fight
The war of thorns will soon begin choking me
To succeed in blackening my heart and soul
And to complete its destiny so dark to me

Hear the roar I bring to the fields of gray
Deep within my insanity it dwelt for years
And now as it bursts into flame and sword
He will take to me a force greater than man

Eyes teased with dust, and heart lowered now
My mind losing its grip on reality, soon gone
Suffering beneath my own blade in hand
Burning the good harmonic flesh into sand

And soon my face will turn to golden darkness
And the music in my ears will re-tune it’s harmony
For there is a new darkness rising above the land
For I’d rather reign in Hell, than serve in Heaven
