Installing EMG's
I own a bronze B.C. Rich Warlock and im just trying to upgrade it. I was wondering how hard it would be to install two EMG 81's, since you have to add a 9-volt battery. There just isn't any room. Is it possible to do it myself? Or should i just get it done professionally.

I would replace the bridge first before the post begin to lean forward and it fucks the body up. Pickups will do nothing for you sound if the bridge will not stay tuned or the intonation can't be fixed.

The guitars made out of fucking plywood for christ sake. No matter what the bridge post are bound to have some movement in them... plywood isent the strongest wood, exspecially when you drill holes into it.

You don't **HAVE** to put a battery in there. (Sorry it's just me again, and I just love proving people wrong, however far fetched my idea is)
You can get a 9v adapter thingy (ehm.... one of those things that plugs into a wall outlet and transforms it down to 9v) and instead of a battery clip you could have a connector to plug the adapter thingy into. If you just tape the cable from the adapter to your guitar cord, it won't be much of a hassle to move around. And it has the lovely advantage of not needing to worry about battery life time, if you're plugged in, your OK.
Though, of course, if you had the space, a battery would be easier.

It would be worth it and easy to get a stop tail installed. Just remember to have the existing post reset with epoxy to remove the movement

the batteries don't to be replaced very often anyways... and to get an 9v ac adapter with a 20' cord and duct tape it to your guitar cable.... more trouble than it's worth.
