Man, you are SOOOOOO good. Yes, your attention to detail is excellent. You've got a grip on gross, believe me. ANd I've not tired of reading you, but I can understand some might think you're hogging things. You haven't supersaturated the page though so I don't have a problem with it. And reading someone such as yourself will help others learn how to use more detail and color in theoir pieces. That's how I learned to be more artistic in my writing.

I can understand your moms feeling the way they do. I'm a mom, too. I've run the gamut of thinking Magic, The Gathering and AD&D were things of the underworld and that Black Sabbath was not to be heard in my house, but then I listened and got withthe program so ti speak and it doesn't bother me cuz I know better. You know the old saying about "Things get a little easier once you understand"? Well, I figured I'd learn before I jumped. And it got me closer to my kids. We have things we discuss about them now.

I can also understand that not everything written can be appreciated by everyone. I let "the old guy" read some of my older pieces when we got married ages ago and he wasn't impressed so I quit writing for a long time. Then I got inspired by one of my kids and wrote a piece about 4 years ago and he really liked it. That got me going again. And then I found my home forum and I've been writing there for a few years now. I decided to check out metaltabs because my son, Walpurgis, is a mod here and looked for an L/P forum here. So I have a couple places for input from like-minded people and can grow in my writing abilities because of them , too.

You ,sir, should really consider finding a venue of copyright and publication. I see very little error in your work and I bet you'd have a bit of a cult following with a book published by the right company. Just a thought for you.

Since you use such simple yet colorful wording I bet your work would be excellent to teach illiterate black metal enthusiasts to read.
A kid that comes over here is basically illiterate and in some ways a little slower (although he plays guitar better than I do, damn it. Walpurgis gave him lessons.) and his father is,too, unfortunately . Since he is 18 I've been thinking of how I can help him out a little, but I don't want to go the juvenile route. And he loves to make up rhymes so I'm thinking of developing a few of his own rhymes for him to read and practice learning the words.

He's not into these types of lyrics, but I know there's got to be some folks that are so maybe the book route would be a good one to take. And have some black metal in the background.

Hey,whatever it takes to get someone to read. I cannot imagine what it's like to not have the medium of written word. I can picture myself on the moon easier.
