Voivod is definitly my favorite canadian metal band. I think Negatron and Phobos are their best albums. More aggressive than usual with the awesome growl of Eric Forrest.

Around here its black metal that runs the show *sigh*, but there are 2 bands that have a damn good live show: (1) Terratomb, and (2) Hellacaust. Everything else that was good died, or left to New Brunswick.
