It costs money to run, but I have great things planned that will make it worthwhile. 350 GB storage, unlimited bandwidth, and it'll also be accessible through a website only available to Metal Tabs members - as well as through FTP. Anyone who participates will be allocated a DIFFERENT password to access the files. We'll also have more control over what happens to files.

I think Norton Anti-Virus already does it, but I don't want another CarnivourousWind on our hands....

Yeah, I've taken the appropriate measure to secure it. I'm able to see the users logged in at any one time too, so I can see exactly WHO is doing what. I will ban people at my own discretion too.
I think it is an alternative approach to slsk, IRC, DC++ and all the other million P2P clients - as people will be able to request things in the FTP thread that has long since died. It doesn't stop at music either - porn, movies, TV episodes, games.. whatever else. That will all be accepted.
It'll be up and running in a few weeks, tops.

Yes, ive seen it. The Joker Character was EXCELLENT. Batman was done well, and the alien and predaters all looked AMAZING. Better than 90% of the hollywood films out now. Too Bad this was only like 10 minutes long.

I'm not trying to rip on his school, but it sounds really stupid... high school boot camp! I thought going to your first party as a Freshman in high school and getting drunk with a bunch of Seniors, who later pull pranks on you and instigate a fight between you and another Freshman, and even later that night puking your guts up was like high school boot camp? Why would he want to go to a make believe boot camp that his school made? He must have a hard-on for the Army, because I don't know anyone that would do that for fun. |
