MIC ZONE
Does anyone want a MIC ZONE to be added into Musician section of the forum?
this forum would talk about vocal styles, throat exercises, mics, arrangements in set-up or in the song writing process etc...

Sounds cool, it should also have lyrics IMO.

What the Doctor said.
Mic Zone sounds like something totally different IMO.

well I think the lyrics forum should stay as it is.
I mean poetry and lyrics are a bit different from grunting techniques, I think the vocal thing should be under the same part as bass, guitar and drums!

Yes, vocal zone sounds better than mic zone.
Having a forum like this may actualy help people (me ) start doing vocals

lyrical/poetry already has a thread called "growling/screaming" and it gives techniques. Just use that

I have a good Death Metal background with vocals. Some guys on here (Like Nihilist) have heard my voice at one point. I'll tell you what really helped my push in vocals in death metal. And it's none other than Freddy Krueger.

Yeah, I sing/grunt/scream whatever. I'd more than likely contribute.

A Vocal Zone would be a very good idea, even though I more than likely wouldn't contribute. I'm all for it, if it helps guys (and gals) with their vocals then it can only be a good thing, right?
